Students of all ages train together in an encouraging environment where confidence, discipline, and perseverance are developed.

Prof David, also known as Coach, began his martial arts journey at the young age of 4! Over the years, he has achieved remarkable ranks, including a 5th Degree GoJu Karate Black Belt, a 3rd Degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under Professor Marcos De Oliveira, and a 2nd Degree Judo Black Belt under Professor Hector Lombard. Coach David is dedicated to helping each person on and off the mat, particularly in the Mount Dora gyms where he teaches. He is passionate about guiding each student in martial arts in Leesburg, FL, helping them find their inner fighter, especially in the BJJ classes at The Mount BJJ!

Coach Annie is our lead Youth Coach and Women's team Coach at The Mount BJJ, who brings a wealth of knowledge and grappling experience for life. She also serves as our Strength & Conditioning Trainer at one of the premier Mount Dora gyms. Annie is a Second Degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt, trained under Professor Marcos de Oliveira, a 5th Degree BJJ Black Belt. Additionally, she is a Certified Personal Trainer and S&C Certified Coach, making her a valuable asset for martial arts in Leesburg, FL.

Professor Dale has been with the academy since 2014, where he joined with his sons to help strengthen their bond and boost their confidence. As a part of the BJJ community in Mount Dora, he loves to interact with the kids at the Mount BJJ and show them that there is more to life than being serious all the time, especially in the world of martial arts in Leesburg, FL, and the surrounding Mount Dora gyms!

Asst. Coach Bree began her martial arts journey in TKD and proudly holds a first-degree black belt in this discipline

. At the age of 13, she transitioned to BJJ, training at one of the top gyms in Mount Dora, where she has competed in numerous tournaments at both the state and national levels. Now a brown belt in BJJ, she is passionate about sharing her love of martial arts.

Off the mats, Coach Bree’s passion for helping others extends to the animal community. She serves as the Medical Director at Lake Vet in Mount Dora, where she dedicates her time to caring for and saving animals through veterinary medicine.

Her commitment to both her students and the animals she cares for reflects the same values she teaches in Jiu-Jitsu—compassion, dedication, and service to the community.

She found her calling on the mats in 2020 and hasn’t looked back. A second-degree blue belt, Began her kickboxing at ATT in Longwood. She brings technical precision, heart, and resilience to every class. We were also proud to honor her with the Mount Dora BJJ 2025 Glory to God Award. 

Beyond the mats, she’s a devoted follower of Christ, loving wife and proud mom, steward of SKÖL Ranch, senior leader in the medical field, and currently pursuing her MBA at Stetson University (Class of 2027 

Coach Adrianne embodies strength, discipline, and faith — and we know she’s going to make a powerful impact on our kickboxing program and the women of MDBJJ.
